Please read these terms of sale carefully before placing your order and retain a copy for future reference.

1. Formation of the Contract

1.1 These terms of sale apply to all products ordered online and supplied by us.

1.2 Your order is an offer to buy from us. There will be no contract of any kind between you and us until we dispatch the products to you. At any point until then, we may decline to supply the products to you without giving any reason and you may cancel or change your order. At the moment the products are dispatched, a contract will be made between you and us, and you will be charged for the products.

1.3 The contract is subject to your right of cancellation below.

1.4 From time to time we may have to change these terms and conditions without prior notice to you.

2. Description and Price of the Products

2.1 The description and price of the products you order will be as shown on our website at the time you place your order

2.2 Every effort is made to ensure that the prices shown on our website are accurate at the time you place your order. If an error is found, we will inform you as soon as possible and offer you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling your order. If you cancel the order, we will refund or recredit you for any sum that has been paid by you or debited from your credit/debit card for the products.

2.3 In addition to the price, you will be required to pay a delivery charge for the products ordered. This charge will be dependent on the total weight of the products ordered and will be calculated as shown on the Supplier’s website at the time you place your order.

2.4 The prices of the products and delivery charges are inclusive of VAT.

2.5 Your credit/debit card details will be encrypted to minimise the possibility of unauthorised access or disclosure. Authority for payment must be given at the time of placing your order.

3. Availability of Products

3.1 Supply of the products is subject to their availability. If on receipt of your order the products you have ordered are not in stock, we will inform you as soon as possible, and will refund or recredit you for any sum that has been paid by you or debited from your credit/debit card for the products.

4. Delivery

4.1 The products shall be delivered to the address you gave when you placed your order, except that deliveries are not made outside the United Kingdom.

4.2 We will take reasonable steps to dispatch the products as soon as practicable after your order has been accepted. Orders are usually dispatched within five working days of us receiving full payment, however we will not be liable for any loss or damage suffered by you through any reasonable or unavoidable delay in dispatching the products. If there is likely to be any significant delay, we will inform you as soon as possible.

4.3 We are not liable for any errors or delay in delivery on the part of the Royal Mail or any other courier service used.

4.4 You will become the owner of the products you ordered and responsible for loss or damage to them once they have been delivered to you.

5. Returns

5.1 We hope you will be happy with your purchase. However, should you feel it necessary to return an item, you have the right to cancel your order at any time up to the end of seven working days after you receive the products.

5.2 To exercise your right of cancellation, you must send the item(s) to Make Mine a Builders, PO Box 277, Guiseley, Leeds, LS19 9BT, enclosing a note which outlines the reasons for returning the items.

5.3 If you exercise your right of cancellation after the products have been delivered to you, you will be responsible for taking reasonable care of them whilst they are in your possession and for returning them at your own cost.

5.4 You must take reasonable care to ensure that the items are securely packaged to prevent damage in transit.

5.5 When we have received the returned items in their original condition, we will refund or recredit you within 30 days for any sum that has been paid by you or debited from your credit/debit card for the returned items. Refunds can only be made to the credit/debit card or accounts which were used to pay for the original purchase.

6. Data Protection

6.1 We will take all reasonable precautions to keep the details of your order and payment secure, but unless we are negligent, we will not be liable for unauthorised access to information supplied by you.

6.2 We will only use the information about you for the purpose of fulfilling your order, unless you agree otherwise.

7. Applicable Law

7.1 These terms of sale and the supply of the products will be subject to English law, and the English courts will have jurisdiction in respect of any dispute arising from the contract.
